Alabama Hills

Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the Alabama Hills, set between the Sierra Nevada and the Inyo Mountains. The Alabama Hills are a formation of rounded rocks and eroded hills, ideal for touring movie sites, photography, rock climbing, exploring natural arches and more. Dog owners should bring plenty of water, keep their pets leashed at all times, clean up after them, and be very wary of snakes. Visit Website

    Breathtaking scenery and enjoyable trail!

Took our puppy here during a road trip and the scenery was amazing. Highly recommend

    Great hiking trail

Great hiking trail, dogs on leashes are welcome (and abundant). We went in October, and the weather was perfect - low '70's during the day. It gets a bit cold at night (low '40's to high '30's), and the temperature dramatically decreases as soon as the sun starts to set.

Can camp out and hike with the dogs

This is BLM area. You will have no facilities but can camp and dogs are allowed on trails on 6 foot leash.
