We visited while staying in St. Louis during our road trip with 2 dogs in April. This park is huge with lots to explore and see! We walked all around this park - around the outside of the zoo, several gardens, World Fair historic site, and several art pieces and sculptures. Lots of nature and grassy areas as well. Dogs aren't allowed in the zoo or buildings but were welcome everywhere else. There is also a Turtle sculpture area (Turtle Playground) with large turtles sculptures to check out. You just have to cross the bridge over the interstate (there is fencing and several others crossed when we did). Awesome dog-friendly park to explore!

The 1904 World Fair was held here. Dogs can't go in buildings or the zoo, but just walking the park and seeing everything is a treat! There is an incredible art museum that looks like it came straight from France. Many statues, fountains, and the "Jewel." A historic restored greenhouse. Dogs can't go in, but walking fido in the garden is wonderful.
