Reviews
Travelers find Benson Dog Park to be a clean, well-maintained, and convenient stop along Interstate 95, with separate areas for small and large dogs. Some visitors note the lack of seating and water availability as minor drawbacks, but overall the park provides a great opportunity for pets to stretch their legs during long road trips.

We travel back and forth from NYC to West Palm Beach, several times a year and this stop if a good one as it’s right off the highway and there is a great burger spot that has outdoor seating for dogs right next door.

- NancyFeb 28, 2022Great location, clean
When travelling long distances with a dog, an easy refuge is well appreciated! I found this a nice little dog run, really easy to get on/off I95. There is a hotel right next to it, super friendly, I will stay there next time I am heading in that direction!
- ChristinaNov 27, 2021Tiny park but safe
we were expecting a much bigger park based on how much this dog park was advertised along I95. my dog had fun and was able to stretch his legs and run before we got on the road again. Hampton hotel next door appears to be dog friendly and allowed us to use their human restrooms.
- JacquelynOct 24, 2021Great spot right off 95
We stopped here while traveling on route 95. It has separate areas for large and small dogs and both areas were good size. The only reason I gave this a 3 instead of 4 was that my dog found some bones in the park and starting chomping on them. That made us a little nervous, as being so close to the highway, one never knows what others are leaving there.
- KathleenJun 13, 2021Great road trip resource
Dog park is great! Huge, shaded, fully fenced. And for humans, the Short Stop across the road has gas, snacks, and clean bathrooms
- AmyMar 28, 2021Shady and lots of grass!
Great park. Wasn’t busy when we were there. Right off of the highway. Lots of people places for food or bathrooms, too!
- StacyNov 28, 2020Good For Traveling W Dogs
right off the highway. it a bit noisy if your dog is scared of cars. sits right by a hotel so convenient if stopping for the night. we drove from FL to PA and this makes a great stopping point for a hotel and dog park in one.

Ideal stop for the traveling pup!! Right off the highway. Lots of shade and running space. Limited on seating but while traveling pet parents want to stretch too! Supplied waste bags but bring your own pup water. Large & small pup play area and parking. No near by bathroom to use while your there. I gave 4 instead of 5 bones because of no water & no bathroom otherwise I would give 5. It is a great dog park!! I posted a pic below

Clean, right off highway and well stocked. Nice open space.
- TerriOct 7, 2019Great location!!!
It’s literally right off of 95! Such a great stop for the pups. I’ve passed the sign many times but thought we’d have to go way out of the way. Not at all!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
- CindyJun 26, 2019Convenient
Yes, it’s easy to get to and right beside a Hampton Inn. It has big well maintained areas for big and small dogs. It doesn’t offer seating other than one bench. I guess I understand why, but I think it would be an enhancement. Sadly, there were no other dogs there when we passed through at approximately 11:00 am . Maybe next time.
- MeganMar 9, 2019Awesome Park!!
Right off the highway, easy to get to, separate areas for small and large dogs, poo bags, benches, shade, water. The perfect spot for a stop on our road trip!
- RaimeeDec 26, 2018Perfect!
We drive from Baltimore to GA a few times a year. This is a great place to stop. 30 seconds off the highway, clean, big. Wish there were more like this!

Right off 95- small dog area and big dog area - very large
- BrendaOct 4, 2018Easy to find right off the interstate
We were traveling on I95 and this park was a perfect place to stop and let the boys stretch their legs a bit.
Nice size and has a small and large area.
Some good shade under the trees. There wasn’t any water available at the time but we always travel with water so for us that was no big deal.
We stopped at about 5:00 on a week day and no other dogs were there.
It’s also right across the parking lot from a Hampton Inn. Don’t know their pet policy but that would be awesome for guests to take doggies too. - KimMore than a year agobig and grassy
Right off of I-95, exit 79. Small and large dog areas, poop bags, water bowls. Next to the Hampton Inn.
- MichelleMore than a year agoClean place for the dogs to run
Large clean spot for small and large (separated) dogs to run. It was very clean, wide open, well maintained and hd fresh water. I have been to dog parks that have Obstacle Courses built in and Water Play areas which is the only reason I just gave a 4 vice 5 stars.
