Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park
Located just down the road from Nevada City, CA, Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park is dog-friendly. The park is made up of 3000 acres of pine forests and is home to California's largest hydraulic gold mine. Leashed dogs are welcome in the historic town of North Bloomfield as well as in the campground and cabins. Fido can also join you on the Slaughterhouse and North Bloomfield hiking trails in the park. The park is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.
