Shasta State Historic Park
Shasta State Historic Park in Redding, CA is a pet-friendly designated area that was at the hub of wagon travel in the mid-19th century. The town was renamed Shasta in 1850 and was right in the middle of the gold rush. Fido is welcome to join you as you are transported back to the yee-hawing times of yore, but dogs are only allowed on the paved roadway and parking lot and must remain on a leash under six-feet long.
