looked nice, could be a really nice park, but the side near the humane society had a large homeless population nearby so it was a great place for my dog and I to stop on our cross-country road trip with stuff in the car

Rather small but shady, with picnic tables and a shelter. Big enough for games of fetch if you’re careful. Bring your own water and bowl.

Be sure to bring water for your dog.
- Rebecca HouckMore than a year agoGreat place to stop in Yakima
Close access to HWY82, which was helpful and well timed having left Seattle a couple of hours earlier. It’s situated within a local park. Good shady trees (I hate it when there is no natural shade) as well as a covered picnic table. Not too far from the parking area. Some folks not too vigilant with picking up dog droppings so watch where you step and the grass hadn’t been mowed. Generally a good dog park!
- NomadicApr 10, 2018Very nice
Could be very muddy with a lot of rain as the grass seems to have mostly gone in the area around the pavillion. Beautiful setting and quiet...didn' share the park with anyone while we were there. Water had been left in jugs which was nice. One of the better dog parks we have been to in our travels

About 3/4 acre, with mature trees, grass and a shelter. It is fenced, with a staging area at gate. There is no water there, so bring your own, there is occasionally jugs there from the regulars. All the dogs and owners are friendly. We've been there many times. It is just down the Greenway path past the Humane Society.
- SadieMore than a year agowonderful, clean w/grass & trees
Traveling with our Golden in the car was great. However, the wonderful dog parks made it even better. This park is our favorite. It has shade with trees and grass. A little hard to find but right off the highway. Take your own balls and water. Keep it clean, bring bags. Not busy during the day.
