Bear Lake State Park
Bear Lake State Park in St. Charles, ID, is a dog-friendly destination located on the border between Idaho and Utah. Split between the two states, this stunning lake is often called the Caribbean of the Rockies. At twenty miles long and eight miles wide, people come from all around to enjoy the mountain views and crystal clear water. Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed on the beaches in the Idaho section, but they are allowed on the beaches at the Utah Parks east side, including North Eden, Rainbow Cove and Cisco Beach. Dogs are also allowed on the free beach to the northwest of Rendevous Beach and the rest stop on the west side of the lake in Utah.
