Harriman State Park
Harriman State Park in Idaho is a waterfowl and wildlife refuge, where leashed pets are welcome to explore beyond the parking lot in the winter season. Located in Island Park, this 16,000-acre refuge is home to moose, elk, trumpeter swans and a variety of other animals. The dog-friendly Harriman Hounds Trail is groomed in the winter for you and Fido to enjoy, however, pets are not allowed on park trails, in any park buildings or yurts during the rest of the year.
