The park was overall fine and had an area for the the dogs to get water. It was pretty muddy and there were a lot of holes dug in the ground. Within ten minutes of being here, several large dogs pinned down my dog and were biting/attacking her. This was not at all playful and their owners were nowhere to be seen. I agree with the other person who wrote on here, someone needs to come manage this park or people need to keep their aggressive dogs at home. Please stop bringing dogs with behavior problems to public parks. My sweet girl used to love the park and now she is traumatized and gets defensive around other dogs.

I try to take my dog here about once a week. It's the closest park to my house and he really enjoys it.. most of the time. The park itself is average, nothing too special. They do provide a water station, benches, shade, and bags and trash cans; all of which are great! The only reason this didn't get 5 bones is because of some of the encounters I've had here. My dog has been attacked, and is constantly getting aggressive behaviors thrown at him by other dogs. Owners are ignorant and try to blame it on my dog being big. My dog has never retaliated; he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. I have witnessed several fights where rather than taking their dog out of the park, they hold them back for a minute and let them continue to harass other dogs. The park would be excellent if it had an advisor, which I know is not going to happen.

We vacationed near Mt. Pleasant and I discovered this dog park nearby. Admission is $1 and they did give us a treat for each of our dogs (two beagles) upon entry. The park was nice and clean and there were plenty of places for humans to sit, though it was mostly just a flat square of land. I've seen larger dog parks that were more interesting, but it was in the middle of a larger park with trails. Not my favorite dog park, but certainly not bad either.
