The pet-friendly Milan Hill State Park in Milan, NH is set on a hill with a historic fire tower, constructed in 1932, which provides gorgeous views of the mountain ranges of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Canada. Located 10 miles north of Berlin in a remote wilderness area, it's a great base for hiking, picnicking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and wildlife viewing. Perfect for Beginners
Very well maintained road-width trails, with a few “off road” options. Some trails are steeper than others but nothing is too severely difficult for beginners or small/young pups (and their hoomans). Lots of spots to stop for a picnic, including the fire tower (you’re allowed to ascend).
