We stopped to get some exercise after 5 hours in the car and loved this park and will always stop when traveling by. Sure there is highway noise but great trails, clean bathrooms and fresh water for your pup. love this place

Beautiful park! Many little short side trails, boardwalk trails. Many dog stations were out of bags ( as most places usually are!) water fountains with dog bowls and bathrooms along the way.
- Amy StaufferMore than a year agoVery nice place to walk the dogs!
3.1 miles around the water, if it's not paved, it has wood planks down for walking. One or two paths are very narrow through the woods with no pavement, but there are alternate routes for those that prefer a safer stroll. Any age of human or dog can enjoy this nature walk. The only place dogs cannot go is inside the nature center, but just outside there are working water fountains and even pans for the dogs to drink from. A goodly amount of garbage cans, and they do supply a doggie station or two, though I'd recommend bringing your own as they are few and far between. Very nice place to walk the dogs!
