Excellent walking trail that passes the river, a creek, some old barns, and nice natural areas of forest. The path is dirt with roots and rocks. Because there is a disc golf course that follows the walking trail, watch out for flying discs! You get to the trail head from Old 52 by turning beside the Armsfield Rec Center toward the baseball fields, passing the playground on the left, baseball fields, and what looks like they are trying to put up some batting cages maybe? It’s going to look like you are going no where, but eventually you will get to the Nelson Acres parking. Go down the gravel road to get to the trail head. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed. Not usually very crowded.
