This is a new dog park for us. I was ecstatic about bringing my 65 lb lab girl there as soon as it warmed up. I was not expecting to see any dogs but when I arrived today there were a couple of dozen. It was really fun for my dog to sniff everyone’s butts and finally find her spirit doggy with whom she could play. My only concerns are: 1) There ARE people there who bring dogs that are known to pick fights. And there was an altercation today with some teeth snarling and fur flying so beware. We took off her prong collar but next time I’m bringing a nylon collar to put on so I can grab her if things get dicey. 2) Some grandmother brought a 18 month old, walking him by the hand into the hyena den with his face at teeth level. I was beyond like WT!!! NEVER BRING A SMALL CHILD INTO A DEN OF 20 UNKNOWN DOGS. STUPID HUMAN!!!! That kid’s face or hand could get bitten off if he ends up accidentally in one of those unexpected riffs. As a mother myself I was completely mortified!!!! It really scared me.
- ElainaMar 1, 2021Nice dog park!
Big fenced in area with a separate space for small dogs. Also had agility course which she loved!

It’s a great space! Nala loves the space to run and play. I like the space, benches and how it’s set up. It lost one star, because at times people don’t pick up after their dogs or think that rough play (non aggressive) isn’t ok, neither will deter us from going though!

I like to take my reactive dog here for some conditioning training- but if no one's around, we like to visit inside the park, too! There's a nice watering station, lots of room to run, and some agility equipment (which needs a little TLC, but serves its purpose). It's right by the towpath, too, so you can also go for a walk.

We drove here because the park in our town was overcrowded. Upon arrival there were locks on the gates. Such a huge let down especially because there were no signs saying why or when it will be unlocked.
