Great little site about 4 miles off of the highway. Took the Desert view Trail. 2 1/4 mile hike with not much shade but beautiful views. There is a water bottle filling station at the trail head. Gave it four out of five bones because the trail itself was pretty rough. Mostly loose rock and wasn’t wide enough to walk side-by-side.

Was going to hike a trail in the Cuyamaca Park only to find out dogs are allowed everywhere but the trails. After a quick search online and finding Bringfido was directed to this place. Off the beaten path in Julian, this place is a diamond in the rough. It has trails that are shaded by trees. Trails that are more dessert scape. Not super busy at all. Love. It did cost $3.00 for day parking pass but we'll worth it. 7 dollars cheaper than the other dog friendly path by the lake.
