Seal Rock State Recreation Site

Seal Rock State Recreation Site is a pet-friendly area in Seal Rock, OR. This beautiful beach allows dogs on a leash or under voice control. Located south of Newport, there's a large off-shore rock formation that provide habitat for seals, sea lions, sea birds and other marine life. The short trail to the beach is steep in areas, but features an ADA accessible viewpoint at the midway point. Visit Website

    Great beach area with very few people!

    More people during the summer, as is the case all over the coast, but October is pretty empty. Some dogs off leash but mostly on-leash. The rock formations are very cool.
