I took my dogs here a long time ago but they weren't allowed there because I was a resident of the area.

Bear park is the closest too my home but I will not take my dogs there anymore, very very dirty. Of all the dog parks in the area Bear is by far the poopest.

Oct 2014 This is our normal park for our med-sized dog. May be hard to find - off of Pleasant Grove, turn at the fire station & curve around the baseball parks. Good size, well-placed permanent seating [don't sit on the plastic seats as dogs pee on them]. Easy paved walkway around. Good obstacle course. Kiddie pools in the summer. Water fountain has been turned off due to destructive behavior of some [may not even be dog owners]. Agree there is too much poop - about 10% of the owners don't pick up. Usually has plenty of poop bags around the perimeter. Beware of German shepards as they tend to pick on some dogs. All the pitbulls we have encountered have been sweethearts! Love the 2 stalls for bathing dirty dogs.

This park is really far from my usual park but my boyfriend and I decided to try it. It's a lot smaller than our favorite spot at C-Bar-C Park but the seperate shower section for dogs is a plus. My complaints with this place and the reason for 2 bones rating is there was soo much poop! I counted 10 piles of poop before I decided to leave. Also there wasn't a trail as it says, there's a sidewalk that goes around the inside of the small park. I'm disappointed for sure.

With a bit of upkeep from owners, Bear Dog Park is a great place to bring your four-legged friend! Owners are generally friendly, and pick up after their dogs. There are also washing stations in case your pup gets filthy.

This park is always busy with dogs. Which is good in our case because our dog is very social and loves the interaction!

Separate Areas for Small (<20lbs) and Large Dogs. Lots of seating and a separate fenced area for wading pools. There's a small walking track in the small dog park. Follow the signs in the main parking lot to the dog park (which has its own lot)
