only one pup when we got there. she seemed to rule the roost but my girls were ok with her. securely fenced, some dog toys about and poop bags with cans. every thing we needed for our leg stretch.

This doesn’t really have to do with the park, just the people that go there but my dog was attacked by a dog here the other afternoon. The man had three dogs and as soon as my dog and I walked through the gate, one of his dogs charged and then pinned my 6 month old puppy to the ground and wouldn’t let go of his leg. Finally the guy got his dog off mine but there was blood everywhere

This place is hard to find if you are not at NAS. No one was there so I must not be the only one who can find it. The off leash area is fairly large, but the drinking fountain does not really give off much water so you had best bring you own. Bayview Park is far superior and your dog can swim if desired.

Just went there for the first time with my Boxer and she loved it. There are two gated areas one for 20lbs and under and the other for larger dogs. Only issue was there was some lazy people who had visit and don't clean up.
There are picnic areas and water fountain for the dog to drink. Very quiet when we were there about 830am. - AshleyMore than a year agoPups had a good time.
I took my two dachshunds here today and we had a great time. It was big, quite and well shaded. My dogs a great time and we will be back to play again.

I was skeptical at first as this had only one review but I was pleasantly surprised. They have two separate LARGE areas for dogs to roam about but as there was only large dogs there (at the time) we just opened the gates between the pens and let them roam freely. The people (and pets) there were very friendly and my dog had a great time. I especially loved that the play grounds are conveniently located next to the dog park so that my niece and nephew when they are here can play and I could still keep an eye on them from the fence. The grounds were well groomed and over half of the area is shaded for the hot days with a dog water bowl located right next to the gate. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here.

Found this park by accident. Its very secluded. 1 area for dogs >20 lbs and 1 area for <20 lbs. Water access is outside the enclosures. 1 bench in each inclosure (not covered). I've been to other parks once, but I keep going back to this one. Its always clean, the grounds are groomed. Covered picknic areas, port a toilets available. Boat ramp at the end of the park. I would like that there was a designated doggie walking trail. However, with it being so secluded the road that continues on around may be what that is for. I just dont' like me and my little Rio getting out on a road of any kind. I Love this place tho :)
