Day trip to Columbia with Scruffy was great. We haven’t taken Scruffy on too many trips because not knowing how dog friendly places are. Bring Fido is a big help. People there just loved Scruffy. She was allowed in the restaurant we ate at. She even went on the stagecoach ride. However she didn’t protect us from the robber that stopped the stage. They do have a few water bowls around. You may want to bring your own though along with poop bags.

This is a charming gold rush town that was preserved that you can park and walk through. You can take your dog on leesh here and I saw some water bowls that were put out for dogs. Some didn't have water so I would bring your own just in case, although I liked that they thought of dogs. People were petting our dog and it is a very dog friendly place.
