We discovered this park when we visited family in Delaware and ended up going every day. It’s a large field on a hillside leading to a pond. Beautiful views all around. The dogs and their owners were very friendly. Wish we had something as nice where we live. Looking forward to going back on a future visit.

Love this park! Great environment an trails. My dog absolutely loves it there. There is so much room for the pups to play around. 10/10 would go again 👍🏻😊

This is the huge and beautiful park. The dog park is partially blocked and tucked away but no gate to closed in. Just watch out if your dog like to swim in the pond. On the other side of the pond, I don’t know if that’s allowed but some people are fishing. And I heard from one of the dog owner that one day his pup got tangled with the fishing line and almost got injured.

I’ve been searching for a clean, safe place to take my one year old lab swimming and this park exceeded expectations! The swimming is great, it’s not too deep and there’s a great little ramp that goes into the water so, as the human, you’re not standing in mud watching your dog! There’s also tons of room to run and play! Great place! We’ll definitely be back!!

While this park is not enclosed, it is not near any roads or traffic. The pond is quite clean for Delaware and doesn’t have the tick infestation that several other ponds have (such as Lums Pond). For easiest access, park at the end of Old Linden Hill Rd. There is a small parking lot and porta-potties. In addition to the pond, there is a large grassy area for dog play.

The park itself is good, lots of open space but the new pond landings are dangerous and sharp. My dog nearly cut one of his toes in half simply walking into the water

Although the park is beautiful and well maintained, and our dog loves the socialization, we just recently witnessed black swans attacking a small puppy by the water. The swans were actually trying to hold the puppy under water but if it was not for another dog and responsible owner , the do

Today I saw a sign that stated no dogs allowed in pond at Carousel Dog Park. I have two dogs that both learned to swim at the pond and enjoy playing fetch in the water. Now that they are not allowed I will be finding somewhere else to take them. Other than the pond thing it's a very well maintained dog park and most owners are responsible.

One of the best things of moving back home after 30 years down South is the dog park at Carousel Farm that my dog and I will relish and trek over the coming weeks, months, and years. What a gift to the county, a place where one can breathe and walk with a spirit of the true outdoors. Its expansiveness and range is just pure joy.

We took our dog for her third visit to the bark park at Carousel today. The first two times we had a great time and our dog loved being with other dogs. Today, however, before we could get her off the leash, 2 dogs attacked her. One dog's owner was not around, the other sort of apologized while talking on the phone. Luckily, our dog was not injured. After talking to other people at the park, this has happened before. The Bark Park is a place to let your dog run free with supervision. As we left, we heard more dogs fighting. We will not be going back.

Today we had our very first dog park experience and it was fantastic. There were plenty of other dogs to play with and a large area for them to run. The pond was great, our dogs aren't really swimmers but played with a few other dogs in water and really enjoyed it. All the dogs and people we encountered were very friendly. Our dogs really enjoyed themselves and we will be going back often. The other reviewer was correct in recommending the towels and "play clothes".

This park is very large, with a large field that is on an incline and also a large pond/lake for the dogs to take a dip. The field is mowed regularly and well maintained. There is a small wooded area surrounding the field but no fence. The area around the lake is mostly dirt and has some shaded areas which is great on a hot day. Note - wear play clothes and shoes! If you go near the lake area you will get muddy. Also, bring a towel to dry off doggie before getting in the car. Dogs that do not swim still can enjoy the shallow areas of the water and those that do swim have lots of space to swim out to fetch those toys! Most of the dogs are well socialized and the owners I have encountered are all very friendly and enjoyable. There are picnic tables around the lake but they are pretty muddy - basically good for putting down your gear and sitting down, but not good for a picnic.
