    Huge!

This place is so huge, you could almost lose your dog in it. But rest assured it is completely fenced. It’s also shady with plenty of seating for humans. Clean restrooms on the outside.

    Great Place

We have been many times and always have a good time. It is usually clean and the area is one of the largest dog parks.

    Amazing!

I have a small dog and usually dog parks have a huge section for big dogs and a small bench for small dogs. This park has a huge section for the small dogs complete with shaded sections for dog parents, lots of trees, a filtered pond and a track. I cannot say enough great things about this park!

    Great Dog Park!!!

My3 girls love it and they know when we are getting close to being there. Swimming and playing in the mud is always fun. They have a wash station for when they are done and need a bath.

    Great location!

I went there today and it is the perfect dog park. I went to the big dog park it was huge! There is a very big pool, and plenty of space for owners to sit in the shade. Also SO much area of grass for the dogs to run around and it has plenty of big trees. What was also good is that even the small dog park looked very big and had a pool to. Also included spaces to shower your dog off after. Highly recommend!

    Beautiful

This is one of the largest and cleanest dog parks in Houston. There is a small dog area that is huge compared to most and has a pond. Be prepared for your pup to get muddy but there is a wash station.

    Absolutely (paw)some!

We took our puppy here on vacation and it was awesome! It was very muddy when we went, so be warned that your puppy will get dirty but it was completely worth it! We had such a great time! There's a pool for puppies, paths to walk along, and agility obstacles to play on in the back. Plus there's wash stations to clean your pup off afterward and pretty clean public restrooms for the humans to use.

Be prepared to get dirty, but worth every speck

I love this dog park. It is huge. It has puddles. It has a pool. (My dearest friends prefer the muddy puddles over the cleaner pool any day.) One of my 4-legged friends walks with me around the trails while the other runs amok to visit with other dogs or chase squirrels. There is a large and small park, each with its own wash station outside of the gate. If you are going at dusk, be sure to protect against mosquitoes as the park has standing water and trees. I based my decision on where to live based on the proximity to this park. THAT'S how much I love this park.

Nicest largest in houston so far

Well worth the drive with tons of space and all you could want in a dog park. Pools need Daily cleaning. Looked very dirty. Some holes in yard should be fixed to prevent injuries to pets and owners. Nice mature trees and shade. Plan to stay a while

    Didn't find it

Just be aware that when you click on directions the Maps App sends you to an entirely wrong location. We didn't find it because we ran out of time.

    Fantastic park!!!

My wife and I took Kitai, our dog, to this park and not only did we like it Kitai did too. He loves the pool area and we like the room he has to roam. Yes, we live in Port Arthur but will travel the 2 hours for our fur baby. There is a dog park in Beaumont but it doesn't match up to Bill Archer Bark Park. Also it's away from the freeways. We highly recommend this dog park. Oh, and Kitai gives it 2 paws up.

    Best Park Ever!

This is the best park I have ever taken my dogs too. I have two Aussies that need the room to run and boy does this place have it!! They also have a pool for those who like to swim and a few agility obstacles. I love the walking path for people that goes around the park and winds through the trees. Lots of open areas too but can get muddy, it has been every time I go. My dogs don't mind and they have showers to rinse them off if they do. Large area for the little dogs too.

    great park

Great: the numerous trees within the park allows for a random squirrel to tempt your off the leash dogs. For those of you using gps, To be more specific the address is
    3201 Highway 6 N
    Houston, TX 77082

    Love this bark park!

This is a great dog park and so glad we finally found it. We have to drive a little further but it is worth it. Great walking trail, plenty of open space for the dogs to run and play before swimming in the pond.

My only complaint would be when the small dog owners (20 lbs or less) bring their little dogs into the large dog side. There should be a rule against that.

We were visiting family and brought our pups here. It's an awesome park with lots of room for big and small dogs. Bring a towel though, our babies got pretty dirty!

Best dog park in Houston !!

The17+acre Congressman Bill Archer dog park is a lovely park with big shade trees, walking paths, shade shelters, benches, agility course, dog-wash stations, and a separately fenced small-dog area. Please note that this website lists this same park as "Congressman Bill Archer", "Representative Bill Archer" and "Bill Archer"....all the same thing. This park is about 1 to 2 miles north of I-10 on Hwy 6, across from the Houston Farm and Ranch Club, and on the north side of West Houston Airport, which is a general aviation airport that does not generate any noise to speak of. Best dog park in Houston !!!

This is the best dog park ever!

If you have never been to a dog park, start here! Two enclosed parks, one for small and one for large. Each has a large bone-shaped cement pond for swimming. A great place to get Fido socialized and run off that energy. Four dog bath areas with hoses for cleanup. Hailey loves it and will see you there!
