Reviews
Visitors praise the Pooch Playground for its spacious, well-maintained areas for dogs of all sizes, with separate sections for small and large breeds. Some customers note the need to bring their own water bowls, as water stations are limited, especially during the winter months.

- AbbyAug 6, 2023Great park!
amazing dog park, sectioned off areas for small and large dogs. large dog area looked to be a couple acres.
- StephJul 15, 2023Huge park, plenty of bowls, bags, dog water
This is one of the nicer/nicest dog parks. we were in town visiting. Unfortunately, it was raining. Who else takes their dog to the dog park in the rain? just me, as we have been stuck in hotels.
my dog had fun running around sniffing. they had a lot of bags and garbages. they also had a lot of bowls and containers of water. I have no idea where the containers of water are from. I believe I saw a hose outside the dog park area. it may be for filling containers and washing off dogs.
There were tables, a shaded area, and some benches. I bet this is a fun dog park on a nice day. Bummer for my pooch.
- JessicaMay 18, 2022Nice Walking Path
Great walking path that opens to both sides, agility area as well.
- AlyssaNov 29, 2021Well kept & So Fun
Pizzurro’s Pooch Playground was exactly what we needed at the end of an 8 hour drive and serving as a half way point in our trek. There were 3 separate fenced areas for dogs of varying sizes, a doggy obstacle course and a small playground and swings for our kiddo. It was also a 10 minute drive from our dog friendly hotel.
- TerriNov 15, 2020This is a great dog park!
This dog park has great open space for dogs to run. Well maintained, and plenty of parking. I would suggest bringing your own water and bowl for your dog. If your dog needs to run and chase balls/toys this is a great option.
- MelissaOct 15, 2020Beautiful dog park
Large park, lots of benches and some agility items. In the fall the trees are beautiful and peaceful. You hardly notice you are right by the airport. On Sundays (not sure about the rest of the week) someone goes through and puts out gallon jugs of water by each bowl that is chained to the benches.

Very nice park with lots of room for dogs to run.

We have gone to this dog many times and it has it's good points like there is a lot of room for your dog to run to their hearts content. The problem is people with small dogs do not make use of the small dog area, instead they bring their little dogs into the area meant for large dogs. I have seen dogs all the way down to the size of a chihuahua there when dogs the size of Great Danes are also there.
Big dogs like to play big and chase each other and when they try to play with the smaller dogs which shouldn't be in the area the owners will start screaming your dog is scaring or being too rough with their little dog. I have seen it happen over and over here. So unless you have a larger older dog that will just lay there and not do anything it is best to look elsewhere for their fun.
On the plus side the place is kept mowed and pretty clean with MOST owners picking up their dog's poo. - BeckMore than a year agoWonderful for Dogs of All Sizes
We have a small energetic dachshund puppy (now 5 1/2 months old), and for the past six weeks have been "shopping" around Central Ohio dog parks. Pizurro Park is so far our very favorite, and I was honestly shocked to see that as of this morning, it had only a three bone rating. Not only is Pizurro a beautifully maintained park, I found the dog owners there to be exceptionally friendly and considerate. For large dogs, there is a huge area, complete with agility equipment and tables and benches for humans. For small dogs, there is a large fenced area with both wooded and open areas, plus a separate fenced agility area. For humans, the park also features port-a-johns and a nice playground.

I live 1 mile from a dog park, however I drive 12 miles to go to Pizzuro Park bc it has good fencing, more room to run & a path to walk so not just grass. HOWEVER, they finally got running water in 2012 but turn it off during winter & I have to bring my own bowl & water. Also, there needs to be more than one spicket access to get water.
