Decently sized, lots of shade. Agility equipment and wooded area to explore.

This is a really great park. There are two sides. One side is grassy and has agility equipment, like tunnels, jumping bars, a heavy dog ball, and ramps. The other side is wooded and has a stream running through it. The people are friendly and there is a (human) playground and picnic area nearby. The bark park provides poo bags, has shade, and places for humans to sit, including picnic tables. I do wish some of the agility equipment was replaced with newer things, but most bark parks don't have any equipment at all. There is a dog fountain but it doesn't seem to be working, so bring water.

When we go to the park we go here!!! We travel 30 plus miles from lexington (that has four dog parks of its own) to this park in frankfort. The humans are super nice, there are shade trees, agility equipment and there is another fenced in area that is wooded that your dog can spend all day taking in the smells. Just be aware there is a small creek that runs in the wood park area, and if their like mine they will find it in a minute and they will need a bath before returning home. There is not a water fountain so bring your pup some water.
- AlexMore than a year agonice idea, wish there were more doggies!
I moved to frankfort and brought my recently adopted dog to the park to get rid of some of his energy. I love the agility equipment and the area in the woods thats fenced. I did bring him in the winter, but there were no other dogs, just Hopps! It would be nice to see more dogs out, hopefully in the spring/summer?
