- MontyFeb 29, 2024Bertha and Tony Saladino Dog Park - WARNING
February 29: There is an older man who brings a young and older Doberman to the park between 7-8 AM. The older dog is very aggressive to other dogs and the owner does nothing to stop the animal. This has been reported to Hillsborough County Animal Services.
Terrible atmosphere for dogs. Many dogs left uncontrolled with irresponsible owners not monitoring their pets, because they are too busy on their cellphones or yapping.
Saw another dog fight while owners were not paying attention to their dogs. One dog jumped on another and when the owner, an older woman attempted to protect her pooch the attacking dog knocked her to the ground. Found out later she suffered a fractured leg and was off work for 10 weeks. This is a nice looking dog park, but we will never put our dog or ourselves in danger because of the irresponsible dog owners that frequent this park daily. Most of the owners do not monitor control their dogs. They are too busy yapping among themselves or looking at their cell phones. Watch your dog at all times and ensure they are trained to respond to your commands.Update January 15 2024: Very dog aggressive black lab this morning. As we walked outside the dog park. This dog stirred all the other large dogs. My vet and other vets do not recommend taking your dog to dog parks.

I have German Shepherd who loves to just run. Well this park will do that for him. People actually watch there dogs. Toys. Water. Small pools. Awesome.
