Not much to see here. About half of the walking path is currently under construction so we walked through the grass.

This park has a nice sized loop to walk. It is across from some shops, a large restaurant, and the water. There is also a newer building which houses the restrooms. Great light decorations for Christmas, too.

There was goose poop literally everywhere! Dogs kept trying to eat it and plus there was no where for them to get into the river, it’s very deep.
If you’re wanting your dog to enjoy a river around here definitely go to the Apple Cider Barn!!! - KimJul 13, 2022Dog walk
I thought this was going to be a great place to walk the dogs. While it’s good if you are staying at the near by hotels it’s not something to go out of your way for which we did. Too many geese and lots of poop. Water did not look clean enough to let the dogs swim. All in all if you need to get your pups energy out not a bad walk. But that’s all it is.

This was a great place to take our dogs for some fresh air. The cabin we were staying at had a steep incline so it was nice for them to potty on level ground. We enjoyed the water & watching the ducks. There was some construction in progress but overall a nice walk.

Good place to go to take the pups for a leashes walk to get some exercise in for the whole family. There are plenty of geese and ducks to watch for the young ones and it’s right by the water so it was very pretty!

Was looking for a place to take my puppy to have room to run on his leash and explore. He had a blast and it wore him out (and me too)! 😁🐾

We chose the KOA campground because it is adjacent to this park. The construction in the park and in the campground meant we had to jump a construction fence, but still a great place to walk our pup. In Feb, they still had Christmas lights up which was awesome! From here you can get to the greenway that follows the river towards The Island or cross the bridge and walk the sidewalk on the other side.
