South Mountains State Park
South Mountains State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Connelly Springs, NC. Featuring elevations to 3,000 feet, an 80-foot waterfall, mountain streams and more than 40 miles of trails for dogs and their owners to enjoy, this park is a must-visit for outbound hounds. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after.

This was so great! We hiked multiple trails, and it was all laid out well and the creeks made it nice for the dogs! Definitely recommend
