As neighborhood locals, we prefer this dog park to the others nearby and actually drive an extra 5-10 min past the others to get to this one. Not perfect, but really good. Two fenced areas for large and small dogs, seating for humans, popular and lots of play. The astroturf makes it a bit cleaner than those with wood chips. Sometimes the water drainage backs up and gets a bit gross.

I went today and the enclosed dog park area is closed and says under construction

The description itself says not off leash, yet you list it as such. This park had no fence and many children in the play area, so off leash dogs are a bad idea. Also much of the grass is dead since there is no sprinkler system here. Mostly this park is for kids to play in the jungle gym area and for homeless people to sleep for the night. I let my dog sniff around when we walk by, but I would not let her off the leash. too easy to run into the street or other people who dont want a curious dog in thier laps suddenly, and it is against the parks rules.
