Quite a hike but nice large beach

It’s funny that we go to a dog beach, you have to work really hard to get there-this one was no exception. We had to walk up and down hills and slippery wet leaves and sand to get there but it was worth it beautiful, long beach. Rocky like the area is but still a lot of sand for my dog to play and get in the water. We went in October so it definitely wasn’t busy. I think there’s an area where the dog beach ends and the regular beach begins but I didn’t see any signs.

    SO FUN!

not packed at all in dog part of the beach. dogs are required to stay on leash but the rangers didn’t seem to care if it was 5’ for 20’. all dogs and owners there were so polite with handling and gentle introducing of two dogs.

    Dogs On The Beach

We visited in September and leashed dogs are allowed on the beach. Not sure if this is seasonal. Beautiful uncrowded beach.
