The National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton
The National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is a dog-friendly historic site and home of the first American-born saint. Elizabeth was an educator and is known as the founder of the United States of America's Catholic school system. Discover her life and legacy in the guided tours of the cemetery and the Basilica where she's buried. Dogs are not allowed in the museum or inside of the historic homes, but are welcome to walk around the grounds outdoors.
