First of all this dog park is part of a larger expansive recreation area with tons of space. I went there for the first time today with my 6 month old Pumi. They have two fenced in sections - one for dogs 30lbs and under, and one for larger dogs which is nice. There are poop bags available and plenty of water dishes. Plastic jugs are available to fill up at a water station. Some people have left toys there. It looks like the people who go there take care of the place - no trash or poop laying around. I will absolutely go there again.

Great Park for any kinds of dogs. Separate areas for large and small dogs. There are water and poop bags which are very convenient. Great environment. It was our first time and we felt welcomed and my dog just loved it.

What a treasure for the West Shore! Lower Allen Township is providing a huge area service with its off-leash "bark park." Expertly sited away from distractions, and thoughtfully divided into Under 30 lbs and Over 30 lbs runs, the bark park includes pup poop bags and disposal bins, water dishes, and even a 1st-aid kit attached to a tree, out of dog range. The dog owners we've met are conscientious and mindful of keeping larger dogs separated from smaller dogs (and puppies, even if the puppies are large-breed dogs). We are truly grateful to the Lower Allen Township canine community for supporting this off-leash opportunity for dogs of all sizes. Thank you!!

LOVE this park! They have a canoe/kayak dock you can take your dog swimming and the water isn't deep if you're just training a dog or puppy to swim.
Also, 2 separate dog parks makes this great without worrying if your dog will be the trampled or the tramplee.
Only issue? People take dogs that they want to be social (but aren't) to the park, let them off leash, and don't take the necessary measures to ensure the other dogs' safety. - BonnieMore than a year agoDog Owner
The park has a separate off-leash area. However, the rest of the park is on-leash only. Many violations occur in the on-leash area. Aggressive dogs are off leash and not controlled by their owners. There is no monitoring in this park!!
