- UdiMore than a year agoOff leash only during designated hours!
Petaluma has a great off-leash policy at many of it's fields and parks--off leash during designated house only, early morning and early evening. Look up their Parks & Recreation info for those locations/hours.
- ChristinaMore than a year agoNot an off leash park
There's lots of room to roam-so long as your dog is on its leash. Contrary to what the review leads you to believe, it is not an off leash dog park, and there are lots of people around including frisbee golf players, as well as lots and lots of geese, ducks and seagulls-- so honestly not very ideal for letting your little friend run around.

It's a wonderful off leash park for trained dogs lots of grass and shade. But Not fenced so not recommended for dog that do not obey commands. It is not overly crowd. But if you like to interact with your dog it a great place to play..

The park has a small lake in it, with a lot of different ducks, geese other water fowl. Its a GREAT place! There is also senior center, children's park, community center adjacent. It is not fenced, No. McDowell is a very busy street but the large parking area is closest to the street making it no problem.
