This place is beautiful. The large dog side and small dog sides are well separated and both really large. Grass is well kept and there isn’t a lot of proof of irresponsible owners(#2’s) has a picnic area in the middle as well. The only thing that stops it from being 5 bones is that there is no shade for hot days. Other than that, it’s worth a stop over for your pup.

The War Dog Memorial Park is a beautiful newer park. Right outside the fences are some interesting placards that explain what war dogs are, and how they serve. The grass, inside, is green and lush, there are water fountains for dogs and people (when I was there, someone left four new bowls people could fill), benches, small trees for shade, and easy access to trash cans on both sides! There’s also separate fenced areas for smaller and bigger dogs with gate systems to keep pups from escaping. I went early in the day, and there were only a few dogs around
