Do you think somebody with an aggressive dog would take there dog to the park. nope so stop assuming that when you see a pitbull that she's dangerous. If anything you should be scared of the chihuahuas those are known for being the most aggressive dogs

At first sight I noticed a park full of kids and nice police men who greeted me and my dog. My dog is a belgian malinois and he needs space and activities to be content. The small dog side is just as big as the large dog side I've never seen that before so lucky small dog owners. There is kiddie pools and a hose for dogs who look water unfortunately it's just a small pool so my malinois just curls up in it. He had fun with the toys left there and the other dogs who came in were well behaved and playful. A pitbull befriended my dog. A total sweetheart. Both were intact males by the way (yes and they were best friends!) I talked to the locals and they said it's never crowded maybe 4 people at a time at most which is perfect for nervous dogs like mine. Overall it's free it was a good experience and we'll be coming back.

Sick of seeing posts about Pitt Bulls and people assuming they are aggressive dogs. We have an American Bulldog, she is a 40KG big soppy wimp. Perhaps instead of judging maybe put yourself in the owners shoes. People who handle Pittbulls wrong and train them to fight are the bad ones. Why tar every Pitbull with the same brush. And no, they shouldn't be banned from Dog Parks.

I have a great Pitt , she's 100 lbs. and the biggest baby there is , Leia loves people but is scared of fake news about her breed , with all dogs they are animals and if something is wrong with them or they are mistreated they will fight back , just like any human would if abused or neglected .I have had the breed all my life and even my vet at 192 animal clinic , here in St Cloud has no issue with her ,He called her a sweet heart .
More room at the dog park ,we should have a Pitt Bull day !!!
- AZMore than a year agoNice Park - BUT!!!
This is a nice dog park with separate fenced in areas for small and large dogs. My only concern is that aggressive breeds such as Pit Bulls are allowed. I tried to take my dog there the other day but when I saw a large scary looking pit bull trotting around in there alone I quickly reversed and put my dog back in the car. I will not allow her to play with that breed if I don't know the dog personally. I wish aggressive breeds were not allowed but it is a public park and not to mention the children's playground is directly across from the dog park.
- KenzieMore than a year agoGood little park
This dog park is good for exercise but not for dogs who like alot of room. it is smaller and is broken up from small and big dogs so a great dane isnt with a chihuahua. I really like this park but kinda want tp find a bigger park, the only other problem is on the big dog side not alot if people pick up there dogs poop
