Agree with other reviewers - DIRTY and People in cliques...

Wanted to love this place, but it's true what many others are saying: there's a group of people there every day I happen to go - a little clique where NO ONE watches their aggressive dogs. They are too interested in discussing their day instead of protecting other dogs from their untrained and unsocialized dogs. My lab Maxie was terrified of these dogs after being attacked. It's people like them who make dog parks look bad. There's too many other places to go where you don't have to worry about clueless people and a filthy dirty poop-infested park. Protect your dog!

    I was impressed

we were traveling from out of town and wanted to let the dogs burn off steam. i was hesitant but the park was clean, fresh water readily available and lots of tennis balls everywhere. the dogs had a good time and enjoyed the atmosphere

    Nice Park

Small dog area was clean. Many dogs playing with responsible owners. Was not unsafe.

    WARNING!!

Someone has been opening all the gates in the big dog park. Please make sure they are closed before you take your dog off leash. This is the 3rd time in the past week and a half this has happened.

    Dangerous & Diry

I usually come to the park first thing in the morning. The little dog park isn't bad. There is still a lot of poo and people hardly clean up after their dogs even when with them.
I witnessed 3 vicious dog attacks in the big dog park. I took my mid size Collie into the big dog park about 4 times before he was surrounded and he & I had to fight our way out. I took my Frenchie & Collie with us once to the big dog park and when we left the Frenchie having a punctured neck and mouth. By a Staffordshire Terrier that the owner told us that the dog had aggressive tendencies!
DON'T GO HERE!!!! The convenience is absolutely not worth it if you are thinking about going here.

    First Rate

This has got to be one of the best in Vegas. It's relatively clean and most of the time the big dogs are on their side and visa verse with the exceptions much happier on the little dog side. People and pets are all good friendly company. Our dog just goes bananas!

    A great dog park

My 13 pound Havanese had a wonderful time at the park. There were a couple of dozen dogs, none too big, and they were all friendly. No bullies the day I was there. And contrary to other comments, I didn't see even on pile of feces and every time a dog did some business an owner was immediately there to pick up. There was adequate shade (for mid-February) and plenty of benches to sit and watch the dogs from. The missing fifth bone would appear if there was water on the site. And, the lawn wasn't lush, but heck, it's Las Vegas and I can imagine that green lush grass isn't cheap. We'll be returning often.

    No control

Small dog area is often occupied by at least one or more big dogs (well over 35lb) which, while usually friendly, trample over the smaller dogs during play. A lot of poop is left uncollected as the cliquey owners spend more time talking than watching their dogs. Grass is neglected and largely dead, the ground very dusty. Needs an occasional warden visit if standards are to be maintained and to direct owners of larger dogs to the larger dog park - otherwise it's fine!

    Best in Vegas

This was a terrific dog park. There are separate play areas for large (35 lbs+) and small dogs. Each area has a sandy hill area (with trees and benches) as well as ample grassy play area. Both areas also have water dishes scattered around conveniently as well as water fountains and spigots for refilling your water bottle. There was also ample shade, both from trees and from awnings. One note: I had a little trouble finding it because the map shows it on the North side of Spring Mountain, but it's actually on the South side. Turn toward the Community Center; the entrance to the area with the dog park is close to Durango.

    Great

Dog had ablast. We have gone twice and there was water both times. He loves running around with the dogs. A few piles of poop where inconsiderate pet owners left. Pretty clean all in all

this dog park is really nice. but the only concern is why they turned off all the water for the dogs. now you have to bring a bowl and water for your dog. not very handy.

    Eh.

The people weren't friendly. They were very "cliquey" and slightly "ghetto". There were SEVERAL "BIG" dogs in the small dog area. Totally turned me off.

    desert breeze dog park

I love the trees and location. But many people that use the park don't clean up after their dogs. In the small dog part I have found piles and piles of big dog poop. These people ruin the park.

    Dog Park

Quite a nice place. Small but still room to run for my big dogs. Small dogs, 35 lbs and under are separated in another fenced area. My dogs played for an hour and had fun, but no place th actually walk your dog off-leash. not much shade which is probably an problem in summer. I visited in late October so it was comfortable. Water, benches and bags available.

    great place!

So far Everyone Ive met at this dog park are super friendly and so are their dogs. I have a puppy who is still a little bit afraid of getting in and playing with all the other dogs but when i took her there she had a blast! Also there are usually people there at all hours so its nice for your dogs to have company.
