- TwylaJun 13, 2023HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
I was in Whitefish for work and found it hard to take my water loving dog swimming, all places are heavily posted no dogs, AND THEN I FOUND THIS PLACE!!! Most days we were the only people there, we played with multiple floating toys, hung out in the shallow water areas, and enjoyed the area knowing my water loving dog was having the time of his life in his own space! The area has ample parking for the use it received while I was there, and dog waste clean-up stations fully stocked with the essentials in case you have forgotten your own! If you have water loving furry friends this is the place for you!

Dogs aren't allowed at City Beach park in whitefish, and must be leashed at all times at whitefish lake state park. Here, it's totally fine for dogs to swim, and especially all the way to the left side of the beach, well-behaved dogs are fine to be off leash
