This is located in one of the most beautiful parks that I have ever seen. We just moved to the area and I was trying to find a dog park for my mobility service dog. The membership was a plus for me but I have a service dog because of mobility issues. It is at least a ten min walk from the TWO handicapped parking spaces uphill to the dog park. There were no hand rails even. We walked it once just to check it out. NEVER again will I even try it. Not for service dogs or people with handicaps. PLEASE figure out a way to get cars into the dog park area.

Fairly large and well maintained. There are usually only a few dog at a time even on the weekends, which is fine by me; less chance of trouble. There are a lot of friendly dogs and people that frequent the park, but there are also a few bad apples too. Some people have a difficult time following rules. Overall most of our experiences have been great, and my dog loves going to this park.

Our first visit to the park was a disaster. An owner of a dog who was off the leash watched her dog being aggressive towards my dog on two separate occasions. When I had enough and was trying to leave her dog attacked mine. The park is fine but apparently some of the dogs and owners should not be allowed. I won't be back nor pay for another year.

The poor reviews about this DOG park not allowing children under 12 are ridiculous. Some dogs are not good with children. Some parents allow their children to do whatever they want to dogs. I had one chasing mine with a stick once. There are parks for children and parks for dogs. This is for everyone’s safety. The fact that you’d bring your children under 12 to play in a DOG park says a lot about you as a parent.

This is definitely by far the best park in the area. It's so big and nice and I love that it is real grass. Everyone I have met has been so nice and every dog too! I started taking my dog once or twice a week a few months ago. It's amazing. It's not fair that this place has a bad rating on here just because people didn't read the rules before signing up about children =(. I'm personally glad that there aren't kids allowed within the gates because I don't think it would be safe at all. We love Paw Point! It's so beautiful there and so close to the city.

We bring our dog here weekly to burn off some energy. You do have to be a member to use the off-leash park, but there are many on-leash areas you can walk your dog around Lake Roland. So far the park has been clean every time we've been!

The park is close to the city and a great experience for your dog to play, swim and run. It's a dog park so the reviews concerning children don't apply, take them to a human park...

It smells so bad during the summer from dog owners not cleaning up. The people let their dogs off leash unsupervised so be prepared to protect your pet and children, and whoever heard of a park that didn't allow children???
- AMore than a year agoTerrible Park to Bring Your Children
We signed up for this park because my 9-year-old daughter wanted to bring our dog to run un-leashed and swim. They have a rule that children under age 12 are not permitted in the dog park. We did not realize this and joined and have been obnoxiously interrogated by people for bringing our children. I realize it is a rule that we were not aware of but because of this rule this park is a non-friendly family environment that excludes children. We don't want to return ever again especially because of the behavior of other adults.
