- KymMay 4, 2023Top notch dog park
Multiple areas for dogs based on sizing and each one very large. Well maintained and plenty of space within each fenced area if you want to not be near all the other dogs/people as a preference. Hilly and plenty of trees to give your dog some stuff to run around and tire out. Loved this dog park!

We were in town for a birthday and we absolutely loved this park! The set up is awesome with the fire hydrants and rocks. Plenty of things to pee on lol. Everyone there is extremely friendly and there’s different fenced in areas for different size dogs.

My lab loves to go to the dog park! There are some hoomans that should not be bringing their dogs, but unfortunately that’s a risk to take. I have been going for years and have never seen anyone get hurt.

This is a beautiful park and I will go back but I will ONLY WALK MY DOG ON THE TRAILS!!!!! I have a 5 month old Weimaraner that loves to run and play. In 5 minutes 2 very aggressive dogs had her on the ground by her throat. We were both terrified and the owner of one came walking over slowly talking like a baby to hers while the other owner sat on the bench and watched. Fortunately I got the dogs off her without bodily harm but she couldn't stop shaking. I am trying to train my dog for therapy to be gentle. This was a complete nightmare for both of us. I didn't see tags on either dog. This park is a great idea but why isn't it monitored? A man was taking his dog in when we were leaving and got through the first gate and they came running at his. He left immediately. A lady going to the small dog park said people bring their dogs to that side because there are always fights in the "large" area. Totally uncalled for by these careless owners. It is always a couple that make it bad for everyone. What a shame!

This park features huge open areas for dogs to run and play flat out
The down side is that with open areas this large (5 - 7 acres) owners may be at some disrance when play gets rough. There is lots of room to run with your pooch, including large mown areas and shady copses. The park is closely patrolled, so mind the rules and you can have a great time. - SueMore than a year agoA little upset
This dog park is great. There is a lot of room for dogs to run and play. It is very well maintained, bags are available for convenient clean up and they have water fountains. There are normally a lot of dogs there which makes it enjoyable and owners are normally friendly. The reason why I give this park only 4/5 bones is because some dogs can get aggressive. Five dogs piled on top of my dog today and I am not happy about it. If your dog is a bully, don't bring it to the dog park!

This dog park is awesome!! It's big enough that plenty of dogs can have a great time with out being on top of each other. Dog owners tend to be extremely friendly, and outgoing here. It's great place to meet dog parents as well. However, if you plan on going here PLEASE remember take an air horn to use as a distraction for dog fights. In my experiences going to John Rudy owners tend to be very responsible of there dogs as well. Do not be caught at the dog bark after sun down, owners have been getting $400 fines for using the facility after dark.

Canine Meadows is actually on Dellinger Rd., off of Mundis Race Rd. Beware, kids under 49" ARE NOT allowed in the areas (bummer for my 2 and 4 year old) or you may get an $800 fine! BUT, it is a great dog park. Huge grassy pens with lots of trees and friendly dogs and owners. Will definitely be back (minus the little people ;)
- AdrianMore than a year agoBIG area for dogs
Come here everyday to take the energetic American Labrador out for her exercise and socialization. People here are very friendly and come from many backgrounds; hunting/active dogs, shy dogs, lap dogs, and all in-between types so your dog will most certainly find a friendly companion to play with. This is the best park in the area!

Large enclosed areas for dogs to run and play. Highly recommend!

There is tons of room to run, and it's great watching your doggy socialize with the other dogs. Really nice area. A lot of people were there, esp on weekends. There's a 30 and under meadow (although some people bring in their 35-40 pounders bc they're scared to let them in with the big dogs, not thinking they're dog is going to play rough and run over other people's little ones and stomp on them; we decided to leave then). Other than that- 5 bones :)

The park is great, but can get very busy on nice weekends. For the most park people obey the rules which are posted. Some few spoil it for otherts by not picking up or bringing in small children, the park rangers drive by at intervals.
