- SamanthaMore than a year agonot worth it if you don't live close
This park is convenient for the locals. Many people bring their dogs here and most are friendly. The fences are in decent shape. The entrances are double gated to prevent escapes but all the gates don't properly close, however complaints have been made to the city, and the users of the park have rigged the gates so that they do stay closed!!! There is water available 99% of the time, benches, shade and sunny areas, usually balls available to play with, pooper scoopers
- AliMore than a year agodog run
There is a dog run in this park where dogs are allowed unleashed. The dog run has two sections. One is long, narrow, dusty, but has benches, a cooler filled with cold water and dog bowl, donated chairs, pooper scoopers, toys, garbage pails- i've even seen donated kiddie pools. There are usually several friendly dogs and people in this section. The adjacent section is larger, but more shaded with grass and lots of plants and trees. This section usually gets less crowded.
