- KatarineMore than a year agoJust right, without leaving the city.
I've always appreciated the vibe of this dog park, and the temperaments of the dogs here. Lots of home owners, young couples, and families, so the dogs tend to be a little more relaxed, playful, slightly better trained. The dogs also tend to be medium to large sized, 30lbs+, I'd guess. We've got a 55lb shepherd mix that fits right in. The park is small but just big enough for your dog to either socialize or take up fetch out of everyone's way. I like the location and the scenic train yard behind the park.

Hi, my dog was attacked by an un-registered/ un-licensed Rottweiler at this dog park in June 2011. I was bitten badly in the left-ankle. My dog and I survived. The Rottweiler was put-down by The City.
Beware of un-licensed dogs being brought in by irresponsible dog owner's here.Troy A.,
