- RianMar 30, 2023Very large, lots of room to run
biggest downside is the holes that are dug because of the moles that live underground and there are a lot of children that come to this park
- RachelJul 3, 2019So much fun!
This dog park is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of shade. There are water and pet waste stations, too. My pup loves it here!
- RoyMar 9, 2019Beware if the "Regulars"
If you visit this place the people who have been going there for years rule the dog park and break just about every rule there is and make excuses for breaking the rules. They are hostile and rude people, which doesn't speak well for their dogs. Most of the regulars come there to socialize with each other and never watch their dogs therefore there is dog poop everywhere so you must watch your step. Did I mention the regular people that go there are very hostile if you approach them to say please follow the rules? Yeah I think I did mention the regulars are the ones who ruin the experience at this dog park. If you go around 2 or 3 in the afternoon you won't run into the regulars that are there in the morning hours.

I love this park. The people and dogs you meet there are very nice.
- RandySep 18, 2018Nice Dog park!
We enjoyed taking our dog here to play. Met some nice people with well behaved pets. We were on the small dog side of the park.
- JenniferMore than a year agoOur dachshunds enjoyed it
Our 2.5 yr old dachshunds enjoyed the small park; no large dogs were in the park (unless you count the portly basset hound who wasn't moving anywhere fast) There are plenty of trees and squirrels to keep them busy. While there's always 'that dog' that won't leave your dog alone, I was able to get that dog to move along and out of our way. There's always a group of owners who are talking and not paying attention to their dogs, as well. Seemed like the park was well maintained; there's a water fountain and several benches under shade. The back corner is primarly dusty dirt so prepare to get dirty, especially after it rains. We spent an hour here on our first visit and they didn't want to leave. This will be part of our regular routine; second to Freedom Park in Trophy Club and third being Boo Boo Buddies in Southlake.
- JulesMore than a year agoBest park in the area
We've tried every dog park in the Mid-Cities area, and this is by far the best. Tons of shade and room to run, water bowl station and hose down area. Lots of trees with plenty of squirrels to keep my terrier interested, and there are always other dogs here, no matter the day or time (aside from cleaning hours). Dogs are separated by size, so I don't know what the earlier poster is talking about. We go at least once a week, and more in the summer, and have only seen one time in 2 years that a dog (that the owner kept on leash!) was aggressive, and she didn't stay long. Owners are mostly good about picking up waste, but, like any dog park, there are occasional messes. The regulars here are great, and my dog gets excited every time we make that turn off Davis!
- ErnieMore than a year agoMy Small Dog Loved It
You can totally ignore that review that Kim gave. My 7-pound Chihuahua had a blast. He is VERY protective and it was the first time we took him to this park. My wife and I were impressed by his taking to the concept of other dogs being around (he's not aggressive, but hasn't been around other dogs in his 3 years). He did fine and we'll be back. Contrary, other dogs WERE NOT aggressive and everyone cleaned up after there dog. There were a few instances, but not as prevalent as Kim states. VERY SAFE dog park for dogs and humans.
- LalouMore than a year agoGreat Dog Park
We love the dog park, great dogs great people. It's not so huge or crowded. We have always had a good time.
- SabrinaMore than a year agoSuper fun!
I've taken my doodle twice so far and will be making weekly trips, depending on the weather, to go back to the park. Its well maintained, lots of other dogs there, and the park is HUGE.
There are two separate sections, one for small dogs under 40lbs, and the other for large dogs over 40lbs. There are dog water fountains and clean up area's so if its rained recently you don't have to put your beloved mud riddled pet in the car.
As far the poster saying there are aggressive breeds on site... In my opinion you cant label an entire breed of dog because one dog has been trained to be aggressive. Its like saying an entire race of people are horrible due to one individual. Every dog deserves a chance to socialize, so I say lets all go to the park!
- CarolynMore than a year agoNice Simple Safe Park
I took my Am Bulldog there to keep him socialized. We loved it. There is double gates, shade trees, open areas, water and two separate play areas for large and small dogs safety. The people were friendly. Labs were hilarious trying to play fetch with any random person. Only one dog was ill behaved and it was a shepherd mix that was picking on other dogs. Owner sort of ignored it's behavior until it ran over to my dog which ironically was the least likely one in park to retaliate.
- JoanneMore than a year agoGreat park!
4/28/14 - visited the park for the first time last night. Have a GSP puppy. Visited the large dog area as he weighs about 37 lbs. He had so much fun!! Dogs and their owners were GREAT! Even a small toy terrier was running around having a blast. Plenty of water availalbe, nice shady areas, lots of room to run. We will be back!
- NicoleMore than a year agogood dog park
I was visiting a friend in TX with my dog who needed a good run. On a warm winter day, the park was full of big dogs to play with. It was a really large park with trees. I wish I had a park like this where I live.
- LauraMore than a year agoGood Dog Park!
This is a good park and has separation for large and small dogs, so I totally disagree with Kim's review... just keep small dogs on "their" side! While there are several 100lb danes, etc that go here, they are friendly and the only agressive dogs I've seen were a few pit bulls who have stupid owners.
- KimMore than a year agoDo Not Take Your Small Dog to This Park
For Medium to Large animals this park is very nice. But DO NOT take your small dog to this park. There are always big dogs (like 100lb dogs) running around in this park. Even my largest 12.9 lb dog is not safe in this park. The aggression i prominent. Owners don't care about the aggression problem and will make excuses for their dogs. No one picks up after their animal here - so watch your step. This is the WORSE park I have ever been to.
