This was the first time our new dog had been to a dog park. We were so thankful there was a small dog area that was separate, yet just as big as the large dog section. The owners were friendly, comforting, and helpful as we had some fears about how our dog would act and react. Our little guy was able to run and run in a safe place while making a new friend just his size. We will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful Alpharetta GA city park amenity with separate spaces for large, medium, or small dogs, which encourages development of social skills and friends. Owner/guardian can stay near, let it run free, or keep a close eye. Adjacent maxi-trails (much forest) for on-leash hike exercise and enjoyment. Many human amenities in park space: horses, pool, tennis, frisbee golf, ball diamonds, community centers. Very enjoyable place for pets.

Haven't smiled so much watching my dog play. The layout was great and it was very clean.

Came here because our pups have been cooped up in the hotel while here on hurricane evacuation. This dog park had just been outfitted with new mulch when we visited. Very clean, water available, and friendly dogs/owners. Both the big & small dog sections had a lot of space for running around, plus a bonus area... AND there are plans to expand the dog park to be even bigger!
- MaryJun 6, 2018Offers 3 large fenced areas
The park has 3 large fenced areas with 1 for large dogs and 1 for small dogs plus another center area. All areas are large and are half grass and half shaded with trees. Water is available. Mostly large dogs were there when we went and there were already several large dogs in the small dog section when we arrived. I prefer small dog playmates for my dog but the larger ones that were there were friendly. The park also offers a paved walking trail if you prefer to take your dog for a stroll.

I disagree with the other reviewer. I love this park, drive out of my way and past Fowler Park to come to Waggy World. It's kept up well, plenty if room for any size dog to run, and MOST owners clean up after their pet. The top reason? The group of dogs and owners are great! Learn the right schedule, and act accordingly. I've come in the afternoon/evening....the dogs are wound up from being pinned all day and the owners are tired from work and not as attentive as maybe they should be. Is that the parks fault? I go toward the morning. Great group of owners, wonderful dogs. But the park has three separated areas to play. Suppose there is an aggressive dog and a careless owner? Go to the other area. Can other parks offer that?

Onwers with unruly and sometimes aggressive dogs, open water trough under water faucet that has LARGE potential for water bacteria. Bring your own source of water!
