The park itself is great, but lately there’s been several instances of prey drive behavior from dogs that are not under control. When I tried to intervene because an owner did not have their dog under control they threatened me. So if you have a smaller or more submissive dog maybe consider a park where there’s separated areas.

Two large spaces (typically opened one at a time) with dual gates at two ends plus lots of street parking. Water station between the two runs with a couple bowls. Both sides have a large ridge/hill that's great for keeping an eye on the pups. As any grassy location, can get muddy, but is kept up nicely imho.

This is a great park to visit most of the time, except when it's wet outside! It is a huge mud pit and a very messy experience with dogs.
Otherwise, it's pleasant, dog owners have been friendly to me, and there's plenty of space to run and play for the doggies.

I have been coming here for 3 years now and it is truly a great park. It is pretty large and has enough room for tons of pets. From spring-fall the water pump and bowls are available which is nice so you don't have to carry all that with you. My only issue with the park is the lack of grass. Any percipitation can cause the park to turn into a mud pit so I would suggest a towel for your car and dog. I am hoping that with the new dog park being built over by bethel road, less people will visit this one and allow for the grass to grow.
