Dogs are not allowed on the majority of this trial

You can take your pup for 1 mile or so on the West Ridge Trail segment of this hike, but that is it. The rest of the Aliso Viejo / Laguna Beach trail is clearly marked no dogs allowed. :(

    NOT Dog Friendly

This is NOT dog friendly and rangers will ask you to leave. They didn’t ticket me, thankfully. Please don’t chance it

Great hike for you and your pup

It's a 4.5 mile hike, no shade but amazing views. There is water at top of the world, but no water on the other side. It stays cool with the ocean breeze till the late mornings in the summer. We do this hike once a week at least.
