I came here close to sun down and there were only 3 dogs there. But it’s not too big of a location so I wouldn’t want to imagine how it is when it’s busy. It’s pure dirt there so it’s not a great location. I say walking around the park would be better for your dog than bringing them into the dog park location.

Great place to take your dogs, one of our dogs loves to chace the ball while the other dog sniffs around, we bring our dogs here every time we come down visit , very clean most of the time.

I felt I had to add a review as I take my dog there quite a bit and have never had any trouble or incidents, unlike the other 2 reviews I would recommend this park. The people are nice and friendly, there are benches to sit and enough room for the dogs to get a workout if needed. I don't give it 5 bones as there is no grass and it's very plain. But the dogs get to socialize and an off leash experience, which at the end of the day is why I go there.

Where I live in Oregon we take our dog parks seriously. Dogs need a safe, clean, and friendly place to play and run. The dog park at Central Park in Santa Clarita is supposedly 1.3 acres, but what they don't tell you is it is divided into a small dog and a large dog park. So your dog will not be playing in a large area, but a very, very small area. The second reason I give this one bone is the smell of this place due to the fact that the area is small and a lot of dogs come here and pee and poop (which many of the humans fail to pick up), this is especially true during the summer months. I have also had to deal with aggressive dogs at this park more often than not, so I will no longer take my dogs here. The sad part of this is many people in Santa Clarita Valley have dogs and there are plenty of open spaces here that could be converted into lovely dog parks. Hopefully this can happen, but for now I will travel to better park outside the area when I am in Santa Clarita.
