- StaceyMore than a year agogreat safe walk
I completely agree with Jess's comments. It is a very nice walk with lots of friendly people, kids, bikers, and occasional dogs with their owners passing by. I feel very safe walking here (especially since one end of the trail is across from a police station). There are several spots you can park if you do not wish to hike the entire path. The path starting by Heritage's is a little busy (houses, intersecting roads, kids walking, in other words lots for dogs to get distracted by), I enjoyed starting at Tuckahoe, Fries Mill Road, or Route 47 since that section is a little less busy and very pretty. I definitely recommend this but make sure you keep and eye out for passing bikers.
- JessMore than a year agoReally nice!
Really nice and well maintained paved trail, in all seasons. Lots of bikes, lots of other people walking their dogs. Bit of a swampy spot that's a bit buggy at one point, and it does cross over a couple of busy roads, but otherwise it's great. :)
