    Hometown Dog Park

We love this park. It has many improvements since these pictures were taken. No longer has access to the pond, which is great as it would get very green with algae as the summer goes on. Now it is completely enclosed. Has a separate small area for smaller dogs or to acclimate dogs to the socialization aspect of using a dog park. Our Buddy is there 3 times a day, no matter the weather! He considers it his yard. City takes great care, always replenishing the wood chips on the trails, planting trees, added lighting to the parking lot and paved the parking lot.

    fun park

My dog loves this park but was snapped at by a little white fluffy dog (white dog with with a white pit mix. Owners carrying a selfie stick and baby). Owners knew their dog was an issue going in telling their dog to be nice before we even approached. Other than that family, everyone we have encountered have been very nice.

Great park, friendly people - but dog sick likely from drinking snow melt

I love this park. The people are very friendly and the dogs are generally great and well-watched.

Unfortunately, my dog was drinking a lot of the snow melt there these last couple of days and now has quit eating. We just got back from the vet's and where she found an excess of epithial cells and rod-shaped bacteria in his stool - we think it was likely from the dog park and his love of slurping up the water. Something to be aware of.

    Very Big

Great park that just added lighting in the front area and a special water fountain your dog can drink from that also has a hose attached for filling containers or giving your dog a quick shower.

    Wonderful

Beautiful dog park! Wide open, trails and friendly people. We drove an hour to get there and it was well worth the drive. We enjoyed and our dogs enjoyed the time that was spent there. Thank you!
