Barnett Ranch Preserve

Barnett Ranch Preserve is a dog-friendly, 728-acre reserve in Ramona, CA. There are 4 miles of multi-use trails including a 2.5-mile loop for walking, running, biking and horseback-riding. Be prepared to bring lots of water as there is no water source. Be on the lookout for wildlife including coyotes and the possibility of mountain lions. There are no trash cans on the hiking trails, so you'll need to pack out any trash as you exit. Please ensure Fido is leashed at all times. Visit Website

    Great Little Trail

    This is a gorgeous trail especially after a good rain Strom. I love coming to this trail, it's very tranquil. Moderate hike, nothing too hard. You will definitely run into large puddles in the middle of the trail, IF it's rained a day or so prior.

    Love this hike because there are usually very few people and it is beautiful. Be prepared for coyotes!

    This is not a dog park. It is a wildlife preserve. Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed at all times.
