- LeslieMay 17, 2024Great pet friendly location
We took our 2 small dogs here for the day.
We had a great day. All the stores we went in were very friendly and kind to our dogs.
We loved all the little shops and even had lunch there too. - AndreaApr 12, 2024Incredibly dog friendly!
We brought our long haired German Shepherd and he was treated like a king everywhere we went and everyone was always excited to meet him! We had no issues whatsoever and had a great lunch outdoors by the water. 10/10!
- KyleJul 24, 2023Furry Friends are very welcomed!!
Miley loved her time here! Being able to shop and spend time with the family was an excellent start to her vacation. She was welcomed in every store she entered, as was welcomed with treats and friendly head pats. She wrapped up her journey gobbling down her very own Big Dick (footlong hotdog) on the balcony at DICKS.

Barefoot Landing is a beautiful place to walk around & enjoy the scenery, as well as eat & shop. We took our 2 pups there & were able to take our pups in all shops we wanted. Savannah Bee ( one of my favorites) was super dog-friendly!!
- KaylaAug 29, 2022This place was great!
there was only one store that didn’t want dogs and they had a sign on the door. it was the Christmas store and that makes sense. the store and restaurant workers were so kind and very excited about my dog.
- AmberApr 5, 2022New experience
Our little Winston is skittish of stores and doesn’t like most, but at barefoot landing he was willing to try most places. Our other dog Zeus loved faux paws and really didn’t want to leave. We will definitely take them back again. It was definitely an experience for our dogs.
- EmilyJan 2, 2022Very pet friendly, not much to do
Barefoot landing is very pet friendly. However, aside from Faux Paws shop, there’s nothing really to do besides walk around. Very little dog friendly dining selection as well. Best to go during the off season when the crowds aren’t so big.
- LauraMore than a year agoVery dog friendly!!
We went to Barefoot Landing twice. The first time, we just walked around -- and got a free sample of warm pecan praline candy! Heavenly on a chilly morning! The second time, we went to Ron Jon's - including our dog -- which made it even more fun! Great place!!
- BethMore than a year agoNot much to do with pet other than walk around
Just got back from a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach. Per this sites recommendation we did take the dog to Barefoot and while it was nice to walk around we were unable to find a place that permitted the (45lb very well behaved) dog to accompany us in the outside dining space. Apparently they use to but got in trouble with the health department. We also intended to visit the Pet Bakery but unfortunately its no longer there.
So while dogs are welcome to walk around there is not much to do with them there.

No problems walking my dog around on a leash here. Ate at Wild Wing outside and took Kurt with me; we both liked their food. The center hosts several fund-raising events for the local animal shelter (Duck Derby, Pounding the Pavement and Pooch Pageant, and others). Even links their website to the one for the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. Definitely pet-friendly!
