the only people who we have seen in the woods are others with off leash dogs. stream is running and trails are marked. great for a short or longer walk and time in nature with your fur besties.

I went there last summer looking for a nearby dog park that had a body of water to teach our dog to swim, we arrived very disappointed and the pond had algae in it (which is NOT suitable for your dog to swim in) so we took her in the stream nearby, she still go to go in the water though. Very big and beautiful, I saw some people with dogs without a leash, a bit annoyed because my pup was still new to us and just had surgery a few months ago and was a bit weak in the hind legs. Plenty of shade and benches.

Posted on 11/20/12 - I go to this park everyday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM with my two dogs... Friendly dogs and owners.... This is NOT an official park but is treated like one. As stated, this park is not fenced in and the Police are not giving out summons, as they too have an "understanding", as long as your dogs are unleased as you aproach the bak woods....

Nice park but it is not fenced and the police are giving summonses for dogs not on a leash and not picking up dog waste.
