The East Branch Trail (PA) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Spartansburg! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the East Branch Trail (PA). My husband and I have 3 dogs (2 labs and 1 basset). We walk them on the trail frequently and we love it. Nit only is the scenery beautiful, but there is the sound of running water nearby the trail. We also love to see the bunnies that often eat grass at the trails edge. Our boys love it too. Smelling the bunny trails and spending time out doors. The teail is great.
