We were eating at the restaurant next door and decided to stop by to see what tours we could do with our three small dogs. The woman working there seemed like I inconvenienced her with my question and kept looking at her watch. We didn’t intend to do anything today, we were just inquiring for a later date. She said we could maybe do a self-guided kayak tour. The whole interaction was very awkward.

On Thursday morning, October 14th, My family (3 humans & 2 dogs) and I did a 1/2 day boat ride with Captain Heather and her first mate pup, Timmy! It was amazing. From the time we showed up to the time we left, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We heard from a local to go to Snipe Point, and Heather made sure that happened! Heather went the extra mile with every detail. From a veggie tray, pretzel chips, jalapeño cilantro hummus, waters and fruit to paddle boards and kayaks to cleaning up one pups sea sickness, she was AMAZING. Not only is she a great Captain, a great human, and conversationalist, but she is also a great DJ, too. I would highly recommend Lazy Dog to anyone!

Took the 2 hour tour at 2 PM with my Pup and family

SO glad I saw this here on BringFido. Just what I wanted to do with my pup for our one day visit to Key West. Even though he's a timid guy and it got quite hot for him, he did very well on the trip and did manage to look around a little bit. A 'normal' dog would have a ball. I loved the mangrove tunnels.
- AliApr 7, 2019Great Morning
We brought our two shepherd mix dogs kayaking. The staff were very friendly and they had a lovely dog there that was very friendly with our dogs. We had a great morning kayaking, so relaxing. We were given two 2 man kayaks to fit our dogs but we’re only charged for two people. When we got back we hung out at the bar there in the little marina and it was awesome. All in all would strongly recommend a visit!

Very dog friendly! We took a 2 hour guided kayak tour. Our guide Penny was wonderful! 2 hours was probably a little log for our little dog who isn’t used to humidity but but she seemed to enjoy the ride. We got very lucky and saw 5 manatees near the end of our trip. All in all a great time. I would defiantly do it again.

Absolutely amazing! The staff is great and my dog had a great time after the initial shock of him being in a kayak! We have visited lazy dog before on our honeymoon and loved it! I love everything about them! We will always come back to lazy dog!

Neither our dog nor us have any kayaking experience but the three of us had a wonderful 2 hours guided kayak tour. The dog was a little bit nervous at first but there was plenty of room for her and soon she began to stand up with her back feet and enjoy the tour. The guide was very patient and everyone loves our dog

Wanted to do something "non-typical" for KW and found this outing. Brought my Havanese on a tandem kayak with me and a relative. We had a wonderful time. Pepper loved leaning against my leg and peering over the kayak into the shallow waters beneath us. The guide was very accommodating and I got to meet the one-and-only "lazy dog" KC. Very sweet pup-girl. I highly recommend it. Look forward to doing this again on our next trip down.

We had a great experience at Lazy Dog Kayak. This was the first time our dogs (or us) had ever been in a kayak or on a paddle board. The dogs were a little nervous but the staff there was very friendly and got us on our way. We were given a map of some of the areas to explore. Great time was had by all of us!
- BeaBingleyMore than a year agoGreat Day on the water!
Lazy Dog kayaks and pattleboards @ Hurricane Hole Key West Bea Bingley, 50 lbs Airedale, awards 5 bones following her kayak experience. Bea, being a terrier is not a water dog. Lazy Dog staff, especially Jesse, were very helpful organizing/intro kayak and assoc gear. They set the kayak up, we hopped in -- 2 adults w Bea between us -- and off we went. Plenty of mangroves and protected water to explore. We lunched at the Hurricane Hole bar and grill -- conch chowder, ceviche and a hurricane. Ask Lazy Dog staff for discount card for the bar/grill.We reapplied sunscreen and repeated. Great Day!
